National City to Become Official Sponsor of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County

West Palm Beach, FL - The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County is proud to announce that National City has become an Official Sponsor of the organization. National City's generous three year donation to the Legal Aid Society is part of their ongoing effort to become a contributing member of the Palm Beach County community. National City has designated a charitable fund of $2 million to be used and administered exclusively in Southeast Florida.

By partnering with Legal Aid, National City demonstrates its commitment to ensuring equal access to our judicial system to the disadvantaged children, families, elders and individuals residing in our county. Those in our community benefiting from this partnership will include survivors/victims of domestic violence and their families, abused and neglected children, frail and exploited elders, and foster children seeking a permanent home.

Founded in 1949, the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation providing free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals living in Palm Beach County. Legal Aid's 17 programs include the Domestic Violence Project, Educational Advocacy Project, Elder Law Project, Fair Housing Project, Juvenile Advocacy Project, and Public Guardianship Project.
