Legal Aid Society Provides Free Legal Assistance to Elder Hurricane Victims

West Palm Beach, FL — The Legal Aid Society is currently providing free legal services to older individuals (60+) who have suffered hurricane related damages as a result of the 2004 hurricanes. Legal Aid presently is representing over 80 elders facing problems related to insurance,ÝFEMA claims and recoupment issues,Ýreconstruction and contractor repair matters among others. To be eligible for services under Legal Aid's Elder Law Disaster Assistance Program any loss sustained must be hurricane related. Documentation of age, any insurance, FEMA assistance and receipts are required.
