Boca Gift Gathering Gala Benefits Legal Aid
Boca Raton, FL - Dr. Sam and Denise Isaacs and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association recently hosted a gift gathering cocktail party at the Isaacs beautiful home in Boca Raton to benefit the Legal Aid Society's 20th Annual Pro Bono Recognition Evening. Over 130 supporters of Legal Aid enjoyed the evening and donated over 65 gifts to be auctioned at this year's event which will be held on May 10, 2008 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The 20th annual celebration honors outstanding volunteer attorneys and law firms and raises funds to benefit Legal Aid's 16 projects. In addition to the awards ceremony, guests at the recognition evening will be entertained by students from the Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc., founded in 1949, is a private nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing free legal services to disadvantaged children, families, elders and individuals living in Palm Beach County. Projects include the Domestic Violence Project, Juvenile Advocacy Project, Foster Children's Project, Ryan White Project, Fair Housing Project and Elder Law Project.
