Law Firm Hosts Gift Gathering Party for Legal Aid
Palm Beach Gardens, FL – The law firm of Devore & Devore, P.A. recently hosted a cocktail party at the Steeplechase home of Jeff and Amy Devore to benefit the Legal Aid Society’s 20th Annual Pro Bono Recognition Evening. Over 150 supporters of Legal Aid attended the event and donated over 80 gifts to be auctioned at this year’s festivities. The recognition evening, which will be held on May 10, 2008 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, honors outstanding volunteer attorneys and law firms and raises funds to benefit Legal Aid’s 16 projects. In addition to an outstanding buffet, guests were entertained by students from the Dreyfoos School for the Arts.
The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc., founded in 1949, is a private nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing free legal services to disadvantaged children, families, elders and individuals living in Palm Beach County. Projects include the Domestic Violence Project, Juvenile Advocacy Project, Foster Children's Project, Ryan White Project, Fair Housing Project and Elder Law Project.
