Gifts Galore
Palm Beach, FL - On Saturday evening, January 26th, Sandy and Stephanie Carden opened their home on Gardens Road to over 100 friends and supporters of the Legal Aid Society's 20th Annual Pro Bono Recognition Evening. The event which honors attorneys in our community who provided outstanding volunteer services in 2007 will be held on Saturday evening, May 10th at the Palm Beach Convention Center. Guests including William and Elizabeth Atterbury, David Dodson and Donna Ross, Etonella Christlieb, Allison and Stuart Haft, Sophie Letts, Mariano and Shelley Garcia, Scott and Jamie Murray and Lisa Small donated over 75 gifts to be auctioned at the May event.
The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc., founded in 1949, is a private nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing free legal services to disadvantaged children, families, elders and individuals living in Palm Beach County. Projects include the Domestic Violence Project, Juvenile Advocacy Project, Foster Children's Project, Ryan White Project, Fair Housing Project and Elder Law Project.
