Women Lawyers Group Hosts
Annual Bookfest for Legal Aid

West Palm Beach, FL – The Florida Association of Women Lawyers Palm Beach County Chapter held its 5th Annual Bookfest at the Barnes and Noble in City Place to benefit the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. Members of the organization and their guests donated over 100 gifts for Legal Aid’s silent auction to be held on Saturday evening May 10, 2008 at the Palm Beach Convention Center as part of the 20th Annual Pro Bono Recognition Evening. The event honors those attorneys and other professionals in our community who performed outstanding volunteer work in 2007.

The Bookfest was hosted by the Florida Association of Women Lawyers Palm Beach County Chapter and Gordon & Doner, PA

The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc., founded in 1949, is a private nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing free legal services to disadvantaged children, families, elders and individuals living in Palm Beach County. Projects include the Domestic Violence Project, Juvenile Advocacy Project, Foster Children's Project, Ryan White Project, Fair Housing Project and Elder Law Project.
