License to Give
You can partner with the Florida Bar Foundation to help children.
The Florida Bar Foundation, a staunch and generous supporter of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, has continually provided funding over the past 22 years totaling more than $6 million to our programs. "Our children's programs, elder advocacy, individual rights and family advocacy would not exist as they do today without the Foundation's abiding support," says Bob Bertisch. The Foundation recently introduced a way that you can help support justice for children -- the Kids Deserve Justice specialty license plate. Every dollar raised from the $25.00 license fee will go to fund free legal services for Florida's lowincome children to help them reach their full potential. Legal Aid Societies and qualifying nonprofits will receive funding to provide free legal representation to abused and neglected children, children transitioning out of foster care or for children needing special education testing or access to health care.
